At this time, I breed one to two litters of Toy Fox Terriers per year. I devote a lot of time every day to handling and socializing each puppy from the day it is born. From the reports I receive from my puppy-owners, this has paid off ten-fold, as each puppy I’ve placed is well-adjusted, outgoing, and happy. Also, I take great care to choose the best stud dog for the bitch in order to produce the typiest and soundest pups I can.

I sell my pups on a co-ownership basis only. I have one contract for pet pups and another contract for show pups. The Pet Contract entails my co-owning the pup until it is spayed or neutered at 6-7 months of age. After the surgery, I visit the pup and make sure it is happy and healthy, and then sign it over to the new owner completely. The Show Contract entails my co-owning the pup until it completes its UKC Grand Championship or AKC Championship, and receive the pick puppy from the first litter (for bitches) or retain stud rights once per year (for dogs), and then sign the dog over to its new owner completely. Again, the dog must be happy and healthy or it comes home with me.

I’m responsible for all pups produced at Foxdale for their entire lives and will always take one back if the placement is not working. So far, everyone is happy with their new pups and vice versa. To make sure I’m placing the pups in the right homes, I will interview prospective puppy-owners over the phone and again in person.
You will be asked questions like:
Have you owned a TFT before?
Are you familiar with their activity level and personality?
Do you have any other pets? If so, what kinds and how many?
Do you have any children? If so, what are their ages?
Do you have a fenced yard?
Do you rent or own a home? If you rent, does your landlord allow dogs?
How many hours a day would the pup be alone?
